On the first day, after docking on Mechuque Island we will have time to wander around the town, which is the most picturesque of Chiloe due to its houses built on stilts.

On the second day, during the morning we will visit the town of Achao on the Quinchao Island, where the oldest church in Chiloe is located. Then at 2:00 pm we set sail for Quintupeu Fjord on continental Chiloe, where it is said that the battleship “Dresden” was hidden after the battle of the Falklands during the First World War. In this part of the journey we will also visit a group of sea lions located on Liliguapi Island. At the end of the day we will head towards Quintupeu Fjord, where we will dock at dusk to spend the night surrounded by an imposing landscape of high hills and abundant native vegetation.

We have planned an excursion to the river where there is good fishing on the third day. In the afternoon we will set sail to Cahuelmo Fjord where we will be able to enjoy some exquisite hot springs. We will spend our third night at this fjord.

On the fourth day, at daybreak, we will sail south until docking at Porcelana Cove. In this place we will be able to enjoy fishing excursions in Dodudahue river, hot springs, and other activities such as trekking.

On our fifth and final day of navigating, we will set sail very early in search of Chidguapi Island, where we will dock to enjoy delicious seafood, fish, curanto and roasted lamb for lunch at Mrs. Juanita and Don Ricardo’s home, with exquisite homemade bread just out of the oven, and, of course, accompanied by a good wine. From Chidguapi we begin the last leg of the journey back to Puerto Montt.
